Keep current with IVCF: ivcf-info, our mailing list, is the canonical source for weekly news and event locations.
If you're Asian or Asian-American, check out our sister chapter, Asian American InterVarsity (AAIV). (Since both chapters usually meet in Ida Noyes, "checking out" = "wander down the hall.")
If you're a graduate student, faculty, or staff member: Graduate Christian Fellowship (GCF) is for you! There are also Christian student chapters in the GSB (Christian Business Students Association), the Pritzker School of Medicine (Pritzker Christian Fellowship), and the Christian Law Students in the Law School.
If you're wondering why we have several campus IVCF chapters instead of just one, see "Alphabet Soup."
Mondays, PRAYER: Join IVCF and AAIV in prayer for the campus. 8pm in Harper 102. Also see our the webpage on prayer.
Tuesdays, TEXT AND TRUTH: This quarter's series is on "Christianity and the Law." It shouldn't be a surprise that we're meeting at the Law School at 12:15. Free Subway provided. Sponsored by IVCF, Holy Trinity Church, and the Christian Legal Society.
Various days, SMALL GROUPS: Many dorms have a group of IVCF students who meet weekly for Bible study and prayer. Check out our small groups page for more details.
Fridays, LARGE GROUP: Join us for singing, speaking, sharing, and more! 7pm, usually at Ida Noyes Hall (look for the signs).
FALL RETREAT: Midway through Fall Quarter, join us as we travel out of Hyde Park (and out of Chicago) to spend some extended time with God and grow in fellowship. Last year we went to sunny Sunshine Cove, Michigan!
WINTERFEST: February of each year. Meet students from Northwestern, UIC, DePaul, Loyola, and (almost) every other college/university in the Chicagoland area for a weekend of training and ministry.
CHICAGO URBAN PROJECT: What are you doing for spring break? How about spending time working with Chicago's Austin and Lawndale neighborhoods, learning about ministry in impoverished neighborhoods...and maybe learning about yourself as well? Contact Alice or John for more information.
CEDAR CAMPUS: After surviving finals, we spend a week in the upper pensinula of Michigan at IVCF's Cedar Campus. There are lots of great tracks and activities: it's a wonderful way to end the school year.
REDEEMING REASON: Plans are underway for Redeeming Reason IV, Fall 2008. For more info, see the RofR website.
ALPHABET SOUP: a quick take on why IVCF has so many chapters at the U of C.
CHRISTIANITY AND THE U OF C: What are the day-to-day consequences of following Christ at the University? In 2003 IVCF invited several alumni to talk about their experiences. Also, I highly recommend Greg Jao's essay on Faith and Common Core, published in the Chicago Maroon.
GOOD BOOKS: Not "Great Books," just good, nutritious reading to help you follow Christ. Put together by Chicago-area IVCF staff.
EMERGING SCHOLARS NETWORK: We worship a God who is the "source of all wisdom and fount of all knowledge." Our faith does not oppose our studies, but instead inspires and illuminates them. We are called to excellence in learning, teaching, research, and service at the University, as Christian scholars. If you believe likewise, check out the Emerging Scholars Network.
PAST REDEEMING REASON TALKS: If you missed the speakers from previous years (or want to hear them again), check out the "Conference Media" section of the Redeeming Reason website.
Ministry in Daily Life: Will your ministry (yes, you have one) stop when you leave college? If you're wondering what challenges Christians face in the "marketplace," check out IVCF's Ministry in Daily Life website.
"Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit
of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see
the Day approaching."
- Hebrews 10:25

We are a chapter of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA. InterVarsity is a member movement of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students.
